Jazz

Well day started quite late after the airport pick up,

Got into office and was listening to music, soon Shiva and I started talking Jazz,

Was asking him on his latest DVD on Jazz,

It turned out to be a charlie parker story, which talks about other eras of jazz, some kick ass pure and classic jazz track and some amazing b&W still photographs.

This led on to the jazz i have on my comp mentioned the greats like davis, coltrane, J Roberts and then went to mention new age jazz which i have just started listening too.

So here goes : - New Age Jazz, Although this category may seem to be an oxymoron, there are many jazz musicians that have experimented with the textures, colors and moods of what is known as “New Age”. Music.
The term literally describes a music for a new age that can, among other things, promote the use of Asian healing arts, the power of meditation and generally an acceptance of mysticism.The category of "World Jazz" (see Genres) embodies some of the same culturalviewpoints, but is generally more rhythm-driven.

Got in early as usual to office and there was no one time for the meeting,

the meeting started off and then voila here is the out come.

Spent the day on the road

Woke up late too some hot Dosas though i couldnt make and eat any nice chutney along with it.

Better half came over and we left after a yum lunch and spent 2 hours in the traffic to get to BIEC. Why do people park on the f#$king road. Its beyond my comprehension,

Spent half an hour at www.imtex.co.in was fun coz the stalls were planned well and so were the designs,

what else to do, drive back and reach home to find that idiots on the road rioting again for no rhyme or reason.

Adios hitting the sack early coz today is star wars night

Saturday - a day of mixed musing

Hit office for a meeting that started 2 hours late,

spent the afternoon with good old friends, thata in town and couple of beers to wash down Mahadevans cooking, yum. (by now my post i thinks seem to get boring with all that talk off food)

Who cares but my stomach,

The lime bacardi breezer is a very understated drink, and i seem to have the taste for it growing on me quite fast.

It Jobby C, birthday, couldnt make for the his get together and knowing him it would have been fun.

Crashed suprising early, was just poooped.

Sums today

Sea Food diet

Well the wedding season's finally are over, One cousin and 3 friends. Was fun coz all i did was to eat and drink, that too not in that order. Well the end result was quite visible and could be felt by that pinch around my waist. To tell the truth i think its due to the costal weather - it made my belt shrink.

Wonder who all are going to pass nasty comments on my more that obvious battle of the bulge.

Popes wedding

Pope's wedding was fun, though i have to say the Aunt S's house is beautiful

Quite a lot of us , the food was good,

When i will stop being a slave to food,

That is the question for the year i think.

Getting ready for Coorg

Small came was picked up by ashu,

Reached home late small complained,

went to take 5 had a drink went with small to pick the better half from the airport

picked Zu went to station, was chaos

after 1 engine, 2 trains, 3 coffeevallas, 4 dogs, 1 wrong compartment and 13 compartment sprint

Finally coorg here we come.

End result is quite Obvious.

Better half is off

The better half left again, confusion on whether i could go and say bye at the station, eventually never made it

missing her like hell but she will be back soon

Was supposed to go for LK's and Bincy's wedding but decided against it coz the boss mentioned dont come back if you dont come to office today.

So spent the day in office nearly fell off to sleep twice,

Dev's Wedding

Well the entire gang got together for M C's and Maya's wedding, was good fun,

Though taking the group photo was more than i could stomach, Didnt know it takes 20 minutes to assemble 30 people,

Had a blast, the booze was good, the company better and the food the best.

how fresh does fish get

Well 2nd day at my parents place, had a craving for the fish, I asked the cowboy he said wait a minute young man takes a sickle and says follow me,

steps in to the river and then vola fresh fish

I wish i could do that then wouldnt have to work just catch fish and eat.
